Our foam padded Kali/Escrima Thin Stx w/Handle feel just like a real rataan stick.

Our Double ended Thin Stx are probably the most used.  They are very much like the real rataan sticks.  The Double ended can be disarmed and returned using the other end.

For more realism, we make the Thin Sof-Stx w/Handle.  These feel like a real stick, but can't be returned using the Handle end without using "Control" on the return!

We like to use the Nylon core thin Sof-Stx for heavy bag work.  It also serves as a great "Self Defense" baton, instead of a real stick.

Too Heavy

I ordered 2 nylon core and 2 hollow core sticks. All of them are too heavy (especially the nylon core) for sparring with and without gear. Because they're so heavy, you can't spar as fast or hard as you would with a lighter stick or you'll cause injury. I requested to exchange the nylon core sticks that I ordered for some hollow core sticks but never heard back from the seller. You're better off getting a lighter padded stick with a fabric exterior from a different company because those tend to be light and truer to the weight of a real stick.
