Kali/Eskrima Sof-Stx with a Hollow Core are the original Sof-Stx...29 years ago! These come in THICK (1/2") and THIN (1/4") closed cell NPVC high density foam , and have terriffic "Compression/Deflection" properties. This means the foam will compress on impact to the core - then bounce back without causing blunt trauma injury.
We use a CPVC hollow core that WILL NOT SHATTER on impact for safety. Everything is glued, so it doesn't wear as fast, and doesn't fall apart.
The outside is covered with a rubber coating for durability, and gives you that "Slap" that makes you react naturally to the strike!
There is 1/2" of high density foam at the tips for aggressive thrusting.
Both the THICK STX and THIN STX can be Double Ended, for disarming and returning using either end, or with a 6" handle that is more like a real stick.
