SofStx foam padded Flat swords are the same technology as our round Sof-Stx, but we cut them flat to be more realistic. As far as we know, we are the only US based company making the flat swords. We use the 1/2" open cell polyetheleyne foam w/ 1" pads on the tips for realistic thrusting, and 30" and under come with both a Hollow Core. #36" and 39" have a reinforced Hickory core for more rigidity.
