The SofStx foam padded Replica Bolo swords  are 15", 18", 21", 24"and 28" overall length.  They have 1 1/2" of high density foam at the tip for aggressive thrusting, and a 3/8" to 1/2" edge for safe slashing.  We use NYLON for the core.  Little bit of flex and durable!  Our Replica foam padded Sof-swords feel great in the hand, and have good balance.  Our most popular swords!

Add weight to the handle: 6"of hard copper glued to the handle makes the Bolo very nice...

Perfect balance of firmness and padding

Good firmness for blocking. Good padding, especially on the front edge. We use headgear with metal cage contrary to recommended practice, so I hope they last for a while,

These trainers are great. They are soft enough to reduce injury from sparring, and give a good bind when they meet. For specific sword training, they are excellent. I recommend them for one type of sparring, though of course, other tools should be used for variety, and specific training. We've been using these for months with good results.
