Foam Padded Kali/Escrima Sof-Stx are made from closed cell cell high quality foam with terrific "compression/Deflection" properties that allow the strike to get just to the core and then BOUNCE back...eliminating blunt trauma injury or broken skin or broken bones. The hollow core will not shatter if broken, and all products are glued so they won't come apart. Safety is our first concern! The Sof-Stx are then covered with a liquid rubber for durability. This combination is what differs us from most all of the other products on the market. This combination of Core, Foam and rubber coating is what gives you that "Slap" that makes you react naturally to the strike!
There is 1/2" of high density foam at the tips for aggressive thrusting.
All Sof- Stx come in either 1/4" of foam( THIN) or 1/2" of foam(THICK).
